Pearson get beat in the women's 100m hurdles. After winning 15 of her 16 races last year and being unbeaten in 2012, Pearson was edged out at the line by Kellie Wells who won in a time of 12.57. Wells is just coming off of a second place finish at the Trials where she ran a time of 12.77.

4. The triple jump was dominated today by 2011 World Champ Christian Taylor who jumped 17.41. Taylor is looking ready to go after his world leading jump of 17.63 at the Trials in Eugene. One surprise in the event was World Silver medalist Phillips Idowu not competing. We are unsure whether it was because of injury or not.
