HEALTHY FUN FOR END OF SUMMER: COCA-COLA HEATS UP SUPPORT OF ACTIVE, HEALTHY LIFESTYLES AT THE ARMORY
Joins Forces with WNBA to Host a FIT Clinic for Local Community Youth
New York, August 22, 2012 - As the summer winds down, The Coca-Cola Foundation is heating up its support of active living and nutrition programs in New York City. As part of its second-quarter grants, The Coca-Cola Foundation will present a check to The Armory Foundation to support coaching on the track for its Armory College Prep programming. The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) will also host a FIT clinic, led by WNBA legend and former New York Liberty player, Sue Wicks, as part of the event for local Washington Heights youth from the Police Athletic League (PAL).
