Improve Foot Placement and Agility Post-Run
A dynamic yet uncomplicated workout, the Skip to Side Slide is a transitional exercise to be done post-run. The STSS helps with agility and keeps the runner's mind engaged as he/she transitions from moving forward to moving laterally. This workout aims to improve a runner's foot placement as well. Ben Bruce emphasizes being "really tall" while always being on the balls of the feet for this exercise...the goal being to remain upright and powerful as is done when finishing a race.
