What's next for Jordan Hasay?

After finishing third in the women's 10,000-meter run at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Jordan Hasay's career as an Oregon Duck was over. The senior expects to go the professional route in the coming weeks as she wraps up talks with agents and coaches.

"It's exciting to know I have a lot of different options and exciting to move on to the professional world," Hasay said. "I'm looking everywhere. I'm leaving all the doors open."

Hasay says she reserved any thoughts about her contract talks until after her race concluded on Friday afternoon. Although classes are still in session, Hasay's attention now turns to the U.S. Championships taking places in two weeks.

She would not reveal whether she would make her professional debut in Des Moines or continue to wear the green and yellow Oregon uniform.

Earlier in the month, Nike Oregon Project coach Alberto Salazar expressed interest in having her join his group.
