Yohan Blake will not compete whatsoever at the 2013 IAAF World Championships in Moscow, Russia, according to an article from Sky Sports. In mid-April Blake was ruled out of the 200-meter dash at Worlds because of a hamstring issue that held him from competing at the Jamaican Trials. Blake's withdrawal from Moscow is the second of the day, following David Rudisha's annoucement.

"The Beast" as many call him, has automatic entry in the 100-meter dash to this summer’s World Championships because of his 100m gold medal performance at the 2011 World Championships. His nagging hamstring injury is preventing him from following through and competing in Moscow.

Ato Boldon, an iconic track and field announcer and former Olympic sprinter for Trinidad and Tobago said, "One thing is for sure, when [Usain] Bolt, Blake, [Tyson] Gay and Justin Gatlin line up, I think we're going to get one of the best races ever." He then hinted at the world record falling in Moscow.

Boldon's full interview on the upcoming World Championships can be seen here. He focuses on the sprint craze from
1:15 - 2:46.

With two of those guys not competing at Worlds, Blake and Tyson Gay (positive drug test), that leaves Bolt and Gatlin. The last time these two went head to head was at the Rome Diamond League on June 6. Does anyone remember this bombshell?

At the USA Championships Gatlin had this to say about beating Bolt, "To beat someone like Usain, you have to beat him more than once to be able to say you have his number."

Once wasn't enough for Gatlin and you can bet your bottom dollar that Bolt has no intentions of losing to Gatlin again.

Gatlin vs. Bolt, it all goes down at the World Championships in Moscow from August 10-18.
