Welcome Lincoln Shryack to Flotrack!
Welcome Lincoln Shryack to Flotrack!
We are happy to announce the hiring of our newest staff writer, Lincoln Shryack!
Lincoln graduated from Drury University in Springfield, MO, where he was the XC captain his senior year. He has been a Flotrack contributor the last few months, writing meet previews/recaps during the outdoor track season. Most recently, he traveled to Canada for the NTL series in Edmonton, Victoria and Vancouver.
Lincoln was on the Oprah Winfrey Show his freshman year of high school after winning an essay contest on the book, Night. He was one of 50 winners nationally.
Unfortunately, he did not win a free car.
His favorite Steve Prefontaine movie is Without Limits, and it’s really not that close. Sorry Jared Leto.
We are looking forward to Lincoln helping us continue to bring you the best track and field content in the World!
Connect to him on Twitter @lincoln_shryack.
