Lawi Lalang Signs with Nike
Eight-time NCAA champion Lawi Lalang has signed a contract with Nike. He signed a professional management contract with Global Sports Communication in June. He made his announcement on his Instagram page.
Nike acquires the NCAA record holder in the indoor 5,000-meter run (13:08.28), outdoor 5,000-meter run (13:0.95) and indoor mile (3:52.88).
Lalang ended his collegiate career at Arizona by capturing the NCAA 5,000-meter title in grand fashion that ended him up on SportsCenter.
He will be racing the 5,000-meter run at next week's Zurich Diamond League.
