Ryan Hall Returns To Action

Ryan Hall returns to action for the first time since the 2014 Boston Marathon with a slated appearance at the 2014 EQT Pittsburgh 10-miler. His wife Sara will also race.

Hall finished 20th in Boston with a 2:17:50 showing. It marked the first time he finished a marathon since the Olympic Marathon Trials in 2012. Most recently, Hall ran 62:53 for 15th place at the Suja Rock ‘N’ Roll San Diego Half-Marathon.

Hall recently announced he is now being coached by distance running legend Jack Daniels.

The first prize winner of the Pittsburgh 10-miler takes home $2,500. If Hall wins, he could get an additional $1,000 for being the top American.

Elijah Muturi Karanja brought home the victory in 2013 with a course record of 46:50. Fernando Cabada ran 47:32 in the same race to set the American course record.
