Dorian Ulrey and Matt Hillenbrand Join Brooks Beasts
On Tuesday morning, Brooks Beasts announced two new additions to the squad with Dorian Ulrey and Matt Hillenbrand set to join the growing middle-distance arsenal in Seattle, Washington.
Ulrey was an 11-time All American and NCAA champion while at the University of Arkansas. He contributed to Team USA by running the 1500m at the 2009 World Championships, and boasts personal bests of 3:35.23 in the 1500m and 3:55.52 in the mile.
Hillenbrand is a recent graduate of the University of Kentucky where he was one of two collegiate athletes to qualify for the final in the men’s 1500m at the USATF Outdoor Championships in 2014. Hillenbrand boasts a personal best of 3:39.84 in the 1500m.
Ulrey and Hilldenbrand will join the training group of two-time Olympian Nick Symmonds, Riley Masters, 600m American record-holder Casimir Loxsom, Garrett Heath and Mark Wieczorek under the guidance of head coach Danny Mackey.
