Betsy Saina Joins Bowerman Track Club
Betsy Saina has joined the Bowerman Track Club, the team announced today on their Instagram account.
The former Iowa State NCAA Champion recently represented Kenya in the 10,000m at the 2015 IAAF World Championships in Beijing, where she finished eighth. She joins a squad that already includes the 10,000m Bronze Medalist Emily Infeld, as well as sixth-place finisher and marathon Olympic Trials favorite Shalane Flanagan, and NCAA Champions Colleen Quigley and Shelby Houlihan.
Saina holds personal best marks of 14:39 over 5,000m and 30:57 for 10,000m.
