The IAAF announced today a new World Indoor Tour that will include four indoor meetings with big prize incentives.
The four meetings include:
Karlsruhe Indoor Meeting (Germany), Saturday February 6
New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, Sunday February 14
Globen Galan (Stockholm), Wednesday February 17
Glasgow Indoor Grand Prix, Saturday February 20
According to the tour rules, individual winners of the tour, based on a point system, will receive $20,000 and an automatic bid into the 2016 World Indoor Championships in Portland, though the release states, "The Member Federation of the World Indoor Tour winner will have the ultimate authority to enter the athlete or not, based on its own domestic standard or qualification system."
