Colin Jones holds a compelling resume on the track. He doesn't have much in the way of high school results, but the Memphis Jaguars Track Club member has been competing since 2013 for his club and has been performing. He's excelled particularly in the 800m, where he's cut his half-mile time by 12 seconds in the last two seasons. He ran an all-time PR of 1:53.76 at the UK High School Indoor Invitational in February.

But Jones could score a back-to-back championship in the 1500m, where a week ago he produced his first title at the AAU Club Championships with a sub-4:00 performance. Jones finished ninth in the 1500m in his division last year.
