All The Americans Auto-Q To The Women's 100m Semis In Rainy Conditions
All Americans auto-Qed to the semis in the women's 100m at the IAAF World Championships.
The first round of the women's 100m went down bright and early IAAF World Championships on Friday in London. Gina Luckenkemper of Germany had the fastest time of the day in the first heat with a big PB, but unfortunately rainy conditions made the track slower as the heats progressed.
All three American runners advanced easily with auto-qualifiers to the semifinals tomorrow, led by Tori Bowie winning her heat in 11.05. For the most part, all of the big names made it through, but India's Dutee Chand did not make it out of the first round, running 12.07 in her heat.
The 100m semifinal will take place on Sunday at 1:10 PM CT.
