Jenny Simpson was a force in the Diamond League circuit this summer, but that didn’t stop Shannon Rowbury from going after her at the Zurich DL in August. Simpson was fighting Sifan Hassan down the final stretch when Rowbury made a late move to challenge on the inside. Simpson dove (or maybe tripped?) across the finish line, forcing Rowbury to do the same. While neither fell gracefully, they finished with outstanding marks of 3:59.92 and 3:59.93, respectively.
