Running at their home meet in Boulder, the Colorado Buffaloes captured the top six spots, which saw seven men run under 25 minutes for 8K at 5,430 ft. altitude. Blake Theroux’s 24:23 winning time was good for #3 all-time on the course, while Pierce Murphy (24:24) and Ammar Moussa (24:28) followed closely, running #4 and #5 times ever, respectively. The only two men who have run faster in Colorado program history are NCAA champions Jorge Torres (24:07) and Adam Goucher (24:12). The Buffaloes continued the historic season with an NCAA title in November, but it all started with an epic opener in Boulder.
