Tori BowieTori Bowie had a fantastic 2014, capturing four victories in Diamond League races: Rome 100m, Pre Classic 200m, New York 100m, and Monaco 100m. She lowered her 100m PR to 10.80, and 200m to 22.18, ranking her 1st and 4th in the world this year, respectively. A 2014 world indoor championships qualifier in the long jump, Bowie’s transition to the sprint world has paid off. During a non-Olympic or world championships summer, Bowie outshined prominent U.S. sprinters like Allyson Felix and Sanya Richards-Ross. Don’t let this “down year” fool you, though. NBC’s Ato Bolden has already pencilled her in as a favorite to make the 2016 Olympic sprint squad.
