Genzebe DibabaGenzebe Dibaba was outstanding in 2014. In just 15 days, she managed to smash three world records in three different events, joining Jesse Owens and Usain Bolt as the only athletes to accomplish this feat. She first set the 1500m record (3:55.17), and followed with a 8:16.60 3000m world record just five days later. She then ran her way to the indoor two mile world record with her 9:00.48 at the Birmingham Indoor Grand Prix. Dibaba won the indoor world championship 3000m, along with big victories in the Monaco DL 5k (14:28.88) and Continental Cup 3k (8:57.53).
