Meb Gets Topps Baseball Card
2014 Boston Marathon winner Meb Keflezighi can add another sport to his resume after being featured in the 2015 Topps baseball card set due out Feb. 6.
Keflezighi, 2004 Olympic marathon silver medalist, tossed the first pitch at the Boston Red Sox game on April 23, after winning the Boston Marathon.
A 15-card “First Pitch” subset of ceremonial first pitches is part of the card series this year and includes actors, athletes, and musicians:
Jeff Bridges — Los Angeles Dodgers
Jack White — Detroit Tigers
McKayla Maroney — Chicago White Sox
Eddie Vedder — Chicago Cubs
Biz Markie — Oakland Athletics
Agnes McKee — San Diego Padres
Austin Mahone — Atlanta Braves
Jermaine Jones — Los Angeles Dodgers
Tom Willis — Baltimore Orioles
Graham Elliot — Chicago Cubs
Tom Morello — Chicago Cubs
Macklemore — Seattle Mariners
