Quick Highlights of Day One at MPSF:

USC’s Ky Westbrook tied the meet record in the 60m prelims running 7.23. The women’s 60m final is going to be 3 Ducks vs 5 Trojans.
 
USC went 1-2-3 in the 200m dash
 
Colorado frosh Kaitlyn Benner took down Arizona’s Elvin Kibet in the 5k with a time of 16:08.22


 
UCLA’s Ida Storm shattered the Dempsey record with a WT of 22.40m!

Oregon ladies pulled the plug on the DMR after a dropped stick. Elise Cranny led Stanford to the easy victory in 11:02.98
 
USC’s Beejay Lee ran a top 16 national time in the 60m prelims running 6.63!

USC’s Conor McCullough also shattered the Dempsey record with a WT of 23.60m!

Washington’s Aaron Nelson took home the MPSF title in the 5k running 13:53.80. We also saw the return of Stanford’s Jim Rosa coming off of knee surgery during cross country. He ran a great second half race to dip under 14:00, running 13:59.33.

And the night closed out with the Oregon Ducks stealing the show running 9:27.02 FTW!
