Grant Fisher Runs #6 All-Time 1600

Grant Fisher took control of the Boys 1,600m from the gun, racing to a US #6 All-Time mark and Michigan State Record of 4:04.46. The Stanford commit split 2:02 at 800m, 3:07 at 1,200m and brought the race home in 27.5 over the bell lap for his second-fastest ever showing in the distance. Lucas Arrivo finished runner-up in US #6 4:15.74.
On the girls side, Rachel Dadamio also led wire-to-wire and held off a fast-charging Lexa Barrott, US #11 4:58.2 to US #16 4:59.68.
Sixth-grader Sydney Anderson showed some gumption in heat 2 of the 1,600m, which featured three sections seeded slow to fast. The mini speedster ran 5:11 for the win.
