will not represent the U.S. Team at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing. The defending U.S. 10,000m Champion wrote in her blog that she sustained an injury that will not allow her to be race ready for the U.S. Championships at the end of June.

To quote Conley's blog:

"Recently I’ve turned a huge corner, but my support team still agrees that I will not be ready to race at the end of June. This experience represents uncharted territory for me and has been extremely difficult to come to terms with. My decision to forego the track season as planned has permitted me to regain some perspective on my training and should allow me to put together a much better second half to 2015."

Conley had an incredible 2014 season. In addition to winning the U.S. Championship, the 2012 Olympian set new personal bests in the 800m (2:05), mile (4:24), 3000m (8:48.35), 5000m (15:08) and 10,000m (31:48), displaying great range and promise during the non-world championship year.

Most recently Conley was crowned the U.S. Half Marathon Champion, winning the Houston race in 1:09:44.
