800m specialist Maggie Vessey has shown time and time again that she has talent on the track and on the runway with her unique racing kit designs. Since the 2014 season, Vessey has collaborated with fashion designer Merlin Castell to show that world class running and high fashion can go hand in hand. This Saturday the runner/designer will run the 800m at the FloTrack Throwdown rocking another one-of-a-kind kit.

Here are some of her best looks from the 2014-2015 racing season:

5. 2014 Stanford Invitational - blue and pink frills

It was April 5, 2014 when Maggie Vessey first graced the track with her original racing kit design. Vessey crossed the finish line in a winning time of 2:03 while wearing pink shorts with turquoise lining and a turquoise v-neck with pink frills. 


4. 2014 Prefontaine Classic - Navajo inspired one-piece

At the Prefontaine Classic on May 31, 2014, Vessey dressed to impress with her custom-made Navajo print one-piece which she rocked all the way to a runner-up finish in 2:00.48. 


3. 2014 USATF Outdoor Championships - one-shoulder striped bow 

Vessey continued her trend-setting streak at the 2014 USATF Outdoor Championships when she strutted to the finish line in a one-piece with a bow on her shoulder. She ultimately finished the race in fourth place overall. 

2. 2015 Stanford Invitational - one-shoulder black singlet with rhinestone detail

Vessey opened her 2015 season by running a Stanford Invitational meet record in 2:01.58 while rocking another glamorous design. 

1. 2015 Prefontaine Classic - lace tank with high-waisted bottom

Sporting a more classic look, Vessey crossed the finish line at the Prefontaine Classic with a big smile on her face after winning a stacked 800m in 2:00.07, which stood as a then-season's best.

This Saturday, Vessey will run the FloTrack Throwdown where she will wear another one-of-a-kind design. Be sure to tune in LIVE at 4:30 p.m. CT to catch Vessey make her debut at Duniway Park in Portland!
