King now enters his 5th year as a ZAP athlete. In his first 4 he established himself as one of the top 5,000m runners in the U.S. making the Olympic Trials final in 2008 and running a personal best of 13:32 during the season as well. King also ran the 1,500m at the '08 Olympic Trials, where he made the semifinal, and ran a personal best of 3:40.6 as well in '08. King is a graduate of Baylor University where he was an All American his senior season. In his first 4 years at ZAP he lowered his PRs in the 5k from 13:56 to 13:32 - in the 3k from 8:12 to 7:55, and in the 1,500m from 3:48 to 3:40. King now resides in Tulsa, OK and is moving toward the 10,000m.
