Corey Inmels was the Kinney National Champion (now the Footlocker National Championship) coming out of high school. He came to Iowa State and was part of a national championship XC team. He came back to ISU as the assistant coach in 2001 after a stint at Arizona State. In 2006 the men's and women's programs were combined and Corey was named head coach.
