Sean and John Jefferson were the first American born brothers to break four mins in the mile and they did the feat in the same race. Sean and John have both struggled with injuries but when they are healthy they are two of the best runners in the country. In 2004 Sean won the NCAA indoor mile with a PR but in 2005 Sean broke his own Pr and Jim Spivey?s 23 year school record when he ran 3:56.44 and that same season he finished second in the mile at the NCAA indoor championships. John in 2003 got his shot at a NCAA championship but he finished second to Arkansas? Chris Mulvaney. Sean and John both had stellar careers on the track and in cross country they both signed pro contracts and are currently working with coach Gagliano in Eugene, Or.

 | i am a freshmen in high school and i run cross country and track.the funny thing is that i have a twin named Max who also runs cross country and track too, and we are very fast, we also have long blonde hair. the Jeffersons remind me so much of me and Max, its crazy! |
