Edwardo Torres had a stellar career at the University of Colorado; he helped the Buffaloes win their first NCAA team title in 2002. Torres was a three-time All-American in cross country and earned All-American status on the track in 2002 when he finished 9th. Torres professional career started off slowly due to injuries, he ran in the Olympic trials and finished a respectably 13th. Torres is now training for the marathon and hopes the roads will be his ticket to an Olympic games.
