On August 15 - In the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China - Shalane finished 3rd in the Womens 10k Finals, earning a Bronze medal. Shalane also broke her own American Record in the 10k, with a time of 30:22.22, shattering her own previous American Record of 30:34.49.

It was only the second medal earned all-time for the US in the Womens 10k at the Olympics.

Is there anywhere online where you can watch a replay of this race. Stupid NBC said all the event would be available on the web, but so far there is NO track and field available on their site!

Im so happy for her, looks like it was an amazing moment, that everyone in the US missed because NBC is void of a brain...Im sitting here waiting till 2 am for stupid ass NBC to finally AIR it...I wanted to watch it live this morning, but Nooooooo, we had Downhill Kayaking on...certainly couldn't have missed that...NBC sucks...if the women's marathon is not on live tomorrow Im gonna lose it...
