As you may or may not know, I will be running the US Cross Country Championships in St. Louis in 2 weeks. I have always loved cross country since I ran my first 5k with my boxers pouring out of my short shorts as a freshman in high school. I've always thought there was something special about running through the woods, taking all kinds of different turns, and sprinting up and down hills. I have also come to the belief that being good at cross country takes a certain kind of toughness, a certain kind of manliness. Another thing I've always thought took a certain kind of manliness is facial hair. Since I've never been a huge, strong guy; the facial hair is about the best way for me to feel real manly.

And here's where the whole vote 2012 comes in. My wife, Annika, claims that she doesn't care what kind of facial hair I do or don't have; she gives me the answer any husband loves to hear "You look good no matter what." So with her not caring, I'm having a tough time deciding what kind of facial hair I should have in St. Louis; so I want you to decide! Now I am going to limit the options to styles that I have had before. That way I can show you a picture which could help you decide; and probably more importantly, something like the Hitler 'stache doesn't win.
