After a 2nd place finish @ the 2011 US Half-Marathon Championships, Ryan Hall went to drug testing and was asked on a form to list his coach.

He wrote: God.

"You have to list the name of a real person," a doping official said.

“He is a real person,” Hall responded.

One month from today, Ryan Hall will attempt to run the race of his life. Unlike most of his competitors, he won't have a coach briefing him prior to the start or watching from the sidelines. Hall's coach will be watching from above; guiding him as he represents the USA in the 2012 Olympic Marathon in London. Ryan Hall isn't simply running for his country...he's running for what he believes in: God, himself, his wife, loved ones & friends. With God's help, he has been pushing himself to the limit and training harder than ever. Hall believes he has everything he would ever want, ever need, in his new coach. His faith is what keeps him going...day after day & mile after mile.
