Osaka has been so fun! It has been great running and hanging out with some famous runners. Leo Manzano and I have been trying to stay out of trouble. We went to the mall and had a blast with all the little kid sinks and toilets. You can check out his blog for some of the pics. It's funny b/c we just started busting each other's chops right at the bat and we've been inseparable since He still hasn't beat me at Wii Tennis, but he keeps killing me in Boxing. If only the Wii could tell when a low blow is thrown. He cheats you know.
On Sunday Lindsey Anderson, Anna Willard, and I went to church. It was good to get out of the hotel and see the city. Church was cool and we had some missionaries translate for us. Even though I joked about the sacrificial chicken at church, Anna assured the others that it wasn't weird like that.
It's great to see people have lives outside of running. Shalane Flannigan's husband is funny, Ritz' wife is expecting soon, Aguayo and Cabada believe themselves to be super-pimps. It's fun to just sit around at dinner and joke around.
Workouts have been fantastic! It's wicked hot and by the end I am dripping in sweat. At first I thought it was just the heat, but I noticed that I am like the only one dripping after a workout. I end up taking the hose to rinse. Nasty! It's fun having a crowd there too. Little kids want to take pictures with you, but they are so polite and don't want to intrude on your time. I don't mind since this is all new to me and I hope it never gets old.

to cheat back on the wii, simple idea. look at leo just as he is about to hit it rather than the screen. initially you might think its crazy but once you get the hang of it, its super easy.
