Track and Field Blogs - Lee Consolo

Well it looks like there are only three Cross Country meets left for me to race at. After a small break we kick things off with the State Meet, Empire 8 Meet, and then lastly the reginal meet. This season flew by but man was it tough. Every week was really hardcore. After coming out of a track season that mostly focused on the 200, 400, and 4x400 it was a tough transition to make back to long distance running!

I did my mileage, listented to coach (despite not wanting to at times hah) and here I am. My times have all dropped, each and every race so I am proud of that. I am not the number one guy on the team but I will keep trying to be these last races. As long as I keep working hard im going to have a strong base come indoor! Its going to be a wonderful season!

But first, I gotta wrap up my last season of Cross Country. Possibly.
