Yeah sorry for not blogging yesterday, but I wanted to get in the inevitable stories that would come from regionals!!! Which I went to, and any of you who didn't should be taken down to a dark abyss so that no one will ever see you again. Just kidding. But really the number of people that went was unacceptable. Jordan, you have an excuse. But Mackenzie, I'm very very disappointed in you.
So this concludes my first week out of cross country, and my first week since joining flotrack with absolutely no miles. Everyone needs a break, and I may… more »
blog fift....just kidding
November 6, 2009
I am trying to keep up my steady pace of 5 blogs per week, and although enough happened to make a new post, I think it would be better to wait until after the regional meet tomorrow. Thank You more »
14 stations of the blog
November 5, 2009
Fear not sophomore girls of cross country, I was only kidding when I said there would be no blog today! I wasn't really planning on making one because absolutely nothing happened today, so here is my best attempt at keeping the people happy. Actually since I am doing this late and I already told people that there would be no blog tonight no one is going to realize this exists until sometime tomorrow :( oh well the blog must go on!
So this was it. The final spaghetti dinner. After four years of coming to these every week, this was… more »
watch out triskaidekaphobians, its blog #13!
November 4, 2009
In case you do not know, which I don't know why you wouldn't because it is a common fact, triskaidekaphobia is the fear of the number 13. Phobias are so cool! Like hippopatomonstresquipedaliophobia is the fear of long word, I swear I didn't even look that up. Ahh! Upon looking it up it appears that first 'a' is actually an 'o', well I got close to spelling it right. But my all time favorite phobia is luposlipaphobia: "An abnormal, persistent fear of of being pursued by timber wolves around a kitchen table while wearing socks on a newly waxed floor"… more »
"Strongest Warriors in the Universe — The Saiyans Awaken: Blog #12"
November 3, 2009
First up--let me clarify who's writing this ultrablog because, for one day and one day only, Allen Raquelle Trevino will be taking a break. I'm Trey Gustafson, and I'll be the "guest blogger" for #12. Now keep in mind that this won't just be a "one time only" deal--I'll be making regular appearances on Allen's megablog every couple of weeks when he is busy, unproductive, or can't think of anything to blog about. And don't worry, Allen devotees, you'll still get your daily dose of puns, childhood media references, and funny stories. So without further ado, here goes!
We'll start… more »
Blog #11, Time and Runishment
November 2, 2009
OK so this blog will be relatively short considering I have to read a large chunk of Crime and Punishment in the night ahead of me. I've been very slothful lately and so I am being defrocked by having to do it all in one night. Oh and by the way, it pains me to say that no one was able to figure out my weekly blog challenge, not without hints anyways. My next challenge will have to be written in a way so that the hard part is figuring out what the question is really asking.
Today was my… more »
Blog #10, The End
October 31, 2009
No there will not be two blogs today as previously stated. I am very sorry. What a terrible person I am. However, none of you are permitted to express the wrath pent up inside of you because the seven deadly sins are not welcome on my blog. There is a major flaw/irony in that last sentence. This week's BLOG CHALLENGE will be to find what it is, the winner will receive a 20% stock in my candy received tonight, or another prize of equal or lesser value.
So, it's over. My last cross country race. I will never again step… more »
the prequel to blog #10
October 30, 2009
so unfortunately I have been very busy and I just got home for the first time right now, at 10:00 PM. Due to districts being tomorrow, I do not have time to write a blog but know that tomorrow will bring not one, not one and a half, not three, but TWO blogs! Get crazy.

Blog #9: at the last spagdin, I dine
October 29, 2009
All I wanna do is zoom-a-zoom-zoom-zoom...
Sorry I got some Wreckx-N-Effect stuck in my head. I've been listening to some 90s rap lately, but those songs got NOTHING on masterpieces like Throw some D's by Rich Boy and Still Tippin by Mike Jones. Did girls in the 90s know how to get dat booty booty booty booty rockin' e'rywhere? No they did not. It wasn't until that fly white guy from the South named Bubba Sparxxx taught us the ways that we received such enlightenment. Yeah, umm ok...
Ok back on topic, today was. The. Last. Long. Run. That. I.… more »
I gotta date with blog #8
October 28, 2009
Sorry I would have started this sooner, but I got distracted watching videos about subliminal messages in disney movies. Pretty crazy stuff, I recommend looking them up on youtube for anyone who thought disney stood for the innocence of our youth. Oh and Josh, you owe Trey $5.
Today's workout was a SCAVENGER HUNT!! After socratically questioning the coaches about our workout, we were made to think that mile repeats were to be our hemlock of the day but then right after the stretches Jackie pulled out the antidote and gave us our assignment. My group was with fellow senior… more »
Blog #7, the vile track
October 27, 2009
Another book reference! But this time not not Harry Potter...
So after today there are just THREE MORE WORKOUTS!! -and then a meet. After this I will finally be completely done with high school athletics! But do not worry children of the corn, the grand trevino is un torro that can never be stopped and will run until 2012 when the Mayan prophecies come true and the world kicks us off and welcomes the return of the dinosaurs who never once burned fossil fuels. Even though I will undoubtedly be able to escape what catastrophes befall the human race, it… more »
6! The Number Of The Blog!
October 26, 2009
This whole last weekend including today has been very depressing and bad for me. This morning consisted of receiving 4 fidgety hours of sleep, caustic cold weather, rank rain pounding on me metaphoric of all the burdens burrowing into my selfless soul. Alright maybe that last one went a little too far.
I was also worn down mentally via english project and a test that I failed, something such a rarity nowadays. A severe case of the sniffles has been haunting me all weekend and today. The honey butter chicken biscuit from whataburger which I ate at 1:30 in the… more »
5 for Blogging!
October 23, 2009
Last day's post left many, many questions unanswered so this blog will be dedicated to meticulously analyzing every aspect of all three mysteries, which were all solved in one day's time. A feat which would impress Nate the Great himself!
First off was nobody knew what this Friday's workout had in store for us. There was no meet the following day, so there would be no premeet. We had already done 2 hard workouts so there couldn't be another one. Was it a long run as Trey predicted? NO! Was it ladders as Dillon Morse predicted? Aww Hell to the… more »
Blog 4ever!
October 22, 2009
Get it? It's my fourth blog, and it will be going on forever? Yeah ok moving on
So today was an easy day, just an easy 4 mile run. What I thought was going to be an easy workout and pleasant day quickly turned into a nightmare however, but more on that later. The run itself was a little boring, because it was raining and gross, my soul was temporarily bound to the churchill campus! I was hoping for a nice walker ranch run, but the evil fire breathing dragon named Jackie wreaked havoc on my heart and would not… more »
A question for my fans!
October 20, 2009
So today is my second day as part of the flotrack community, and it is time for Allen Trevino's weekly trivia!!! This morning I ran a timed mile before the actual workout however by the time that was over I had to run to the band hall to use the restroom. After that I came back to the track and ran my workout of ten 200s. Given the information that my Garmin watch read 2.35 miles at the end of the workout, what is the distance in meters from the track to the band hall restroom? The first person to… more »
