Yesterday we had a team time trial and I was really excited to see how fast I could run because training had been going pretty good. The first event I was going to do was the 5k, which kind of got me nervous. After a teammate and I went out in a 5:10 mile I was feeling pretty good. But then something happened, I lost focus got passed and it started going downhill from there. I got a side stitch but I really think alot of it was mental and I was just frustrated by the time I finished. After I fell apart, I had to run the 1500 and I didn't even want to run anymore. It didn't turn out too bad, I was just waiting to get outkicked by some of the mid-distance guys but I seemed to hold on long enough. If i'm going to get faster I need to focus more an stop dropping the ball.
