Over the last couple of days, Andy and I went down to the XC Camp area to scout some running trails. Its easy to forget some things when you are not in the mountains on a regular basis.

It is really beuatiful.

It is REALLY hilly.

The cicadas are in one of the seventeen year cycles (broods) and they sound like a constant hum. Really cool. Funny thing is we never saw any of them.

Its hot in the trails. Not much of any breeze makes it through and the air is humid.

I hope everyone keeps running (after some time off post-state meet).
