This mornings long run was a nice day. Cool start, good company :) and something Ive never done before. From miles 10-21, I ran every mile faster than the one before. Some by less than one second, but faster. I had no idea it was going on at the time. I was trying on the last couple of miles to get to tempo pace. But beyond that it pure happenstance. I am not sure that its completely accurate. We ran a section of paved trail along Beargrass Creek where my Garmin had the pace at 8:10 (mile 10). Im not sure that it was really that slow or if my watch was losing contact because of the canopy of trees. But after that I think it was pretty accurate. Starting at 8:10 and ending at 6:40. Three miles in a row of 7:30 pont something, but each one was faster. I guess that is a REAL progression run!
