Thats right meets. The first being the State HS Meet on that beautiful day at the Horse Park. It was beatiful to watch anyway. With weather like that it was great to see so many of you eager to go. Thats the absolute best approach to bad weather. Saying "Bring It!", "let go do this right now". Thats what I saw time and time again. The kids who we deal with on a regular basis showed tremendous grit and understanding of the nature of the sport. By that I mean its really about competing against the other runners. Not a clock, but racing other people. For points!

I know some of you did not have the race that you wanted. I also know it was not because of a lack of effort. Bad races happen. Have a short memory and focus on the positive.

At District AAU I was lucky to have a front row seat (Sara that means you were lucky too) to watch a really great race in the Youth Boys Division. The lead changed hands several times, but ultimately it came down to a battle of Connor and Thomas. Shoulder to shoulder for a long way. Fantastic effort.

So even though the weather was... well crappy :). it was a thing of beauty.
