Thats the description of the last couple of days.

Starting with bloodied. After Tuesdays run my right big toe swoll up like a giant cherry. Throbbed all night and kept me awake. The next morning its off to the podiatrist where it was time to lop off a good chunk of the toenail to relieve the infection and pain. (that parts not really THAT bad). It hurt for awhile but blah blah blah.

While having my toenail amputated my phone goes bad. Completely broken and beyond repair. Off to Sprint where all of the idiocy in the entire world is headquartered. I wont even begin to explain about their bad customer service. The Broken part is that I now dont have a decent phone and wont until at least Monday.

Today I got up and tested the toe on a short run. Not too painful. So off to Fast Fred's Five Mile race I go. Get my number and meet up with Matt Cope (thank the Lord for Matt). Get changed to race, and lock my keys in the car for the second time in about 10 weeks. CRA*! Run the race, while collecting a puddle of blood in my shoe (yeah maybe my wife was right about it not being a good idea). Run pretty decent though. Stand out in the cold and wait for AAA.
