Track and Field Blogs - Chaz [Charlie Hammon]

Today I ran my pretty much first run off the break (I ran like a half mile on Thursday). It wasn't so good. When I first started I felt great. I wasn't in pain and it kind of felt like I was just flying through my neighborhood. It was kinda rainy, not much, but the ground was wet which kind of felt good having the water splash my legs, also kind of cold though. Then comes the problem. All of a sudden my right knee gives a suddem burst of pain. The pain died down and was just kind of moderate which I could handle. Then another burst of extordinary pain in my left knee. My left knee had bad pain bursts and then moderate and then bad pain bursts, so it was kind of off and on. Eventually I went home to get my knee braces. I was going to go back out but then my dad said he didn't really want me to. I didn't want to get really hurt so I just stopped. I think my knee pain is especially bad in the cold. Well I hope they get better.
