Yesterday's 3K run proved to be a great day for the Irish XC teams. There were excellent individual and team showings on both the boys and girls teams.

On the boys side Tyler Tomazic lead the way followed closely by Jacob Swords, Landon, Davis, Ian Walsh, Anthony Joyce, Greg Gannon, and Brian Raglow.

On the girls side we had a very pleasant surprise in Tessa Weigand taking 2nd overall. Molly Miloscia drove the pace for the first half of the race and then Tessa took over. It took a little coaxing at the end by Coach Miloscia to have Tessa sprint at the end to beat the girl from Marlington, but she did prevail. Tessa was followed very closely(separated by only 28 seconds 1 to 7) by Maria Arnone, Emily Tomei, Annie Davis, Courtney Kovach, Molly Miloscia, and Anna Mion.

The teams will be heading to Toledo on Saturday and will need to be mentally and physically prepared to take home first place finishes.
