DecaNation

I have only a few minutes to write so I'll fill in more details later...

I raced yesterday in the DecaNation and won my very first international event in a USA jersey. I set a pr of 9:33 chasing down the French woman in her own stadium the last 100 meters. It was an exciting finish. I couldn't have imagined a better outcome to this long and crazy trip. I can't wait to get home and let everyone in on the rest of the stories

Now I'm off to a long run. I'm going to put in 90 minutes this morning before Heather and I catch our plane to go home. I'm going home!!!! It seems almost unbelievable after 3 and a half weeks of traveling! :) I can't wait. I miss my team and my coach so much! Keep reading, I'll post again when I return.

Hi Jenny, Got the wonderful news of your race from your Mom and Dad!! We all so excited and proud of you. I called all of the family and told them of the good news.
Hi Jenny, We were so excited and happy to hear the good news about your race. Wish we could have seen it but you know how I like those close races. I just enjoy watching them on tape when I know you have won. Congratulations on winning and competing in the World Games and just representing the USA. You are a very worthy one to do that. We are so proud of you but now we want you to come home safely. We love you!! Grandma and Grandpa Barringer
