Mitchell Report and Track and Field

We can say the SH@T hit the fan. With all the names and people named in Major League Baseball this is a tough time for certain sports. Just remember, There is no crying in baseball. Yet, it must be known that the vast majority of athletes in all sports are clean. It was said that this is a bad day for sports and baseball, but I beg to differ. This is a bad day for the guys who were cheating and got caught. It's a bad day for the guys who have been cheating and did not get caught because they know they may get caught. BUT, it is agreat day for the clean athletes because now they know that maybe the playing field may be a little more even and level. They can also know that the guys are really not that far in front of them. I had friends that complained that they were just out to get Barry Bonds and Michael Vick and others in their position. I told them whether they are or not, something good (depends on how you look at it) would come out of it. See, now we can see if they really want to clean the sport up or if they are just trying to get Barry Bonds, either way, we will get an answer. I am from Texas and I am a big Roger Clemons fan, so it is disappointing, but I realize one thing about humans. They will make a mistake. That being said, he should be penalized just like anybody else, no more and no less. The same with Barry Bonds and everybody else. So, for all you track fans and athletes out there, keep watching, supporting, and know, even when one individual, or a group of isolated individuals decide to make the wrong decision, just know, there are many many more that are making the right decision and THEY need your support. What the Mitchell report reiterated to me was---- " LIFE IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO GET"
