I told you all that I was not very good at keeping New Year’s resolutions!! My apologies if you were wondering what have been going on with my Olympic year preparations over the past weeks. But I figured I really better get a blog out when Coolsaet threatened to call me out. So here it goes.

My indoor season was really a mixed bag of results. I opened up with a 3000m at the Reebok Boston Indoor Games and came away very disappointed with the 7:55 effort. My training was progressing really well at that point… more »

I know, I know…I have really neglected this whole blogging thing, but I am officially back in blog mode. So my New Year’s resolution is to be much more consistent with my Flotrack blogs. My goal is to have one every two weeks and I am hoping you will all keep me on track if start slacking and I stray from my bi-weekly target.

One Season Ends and Another Begins...

...but, not without some good R&R first!!

So my season officially ended at 1:08:52.9 PM EST on Saturday afternoon, good enough for 2nd place at the 5th Avenue Mile, just 0.2 seconds behind Alan Webb.

It was a great way to cap off a somewhat mixed bag of a season. After a very disappointing 11th place finish in Berlin, I came back strong the next week with a 5th place finish in the World Athletics Final in Stuttgart. My first official blog post, live from Berlin!

I gotta apologize to my boy Mark for taking so long to get this first post up. He's had me ready to go on here since Osaka, and due to a bit of procrastinating on my part, and some sketchy internet spots in Italy it's taken me almost a month to get my first post up.
