Hey Everyone,
So I'm finally back from Europe and Mexico. It has been a lot of fun and a lot of work, but I have enjoyed it every step of the way.
All in all it was a great season. Thesolaniki is where I left off the last time I blogged. I did really well. It was a very competitive race but i beat out the world champ and the world leader in time, which was really exciting and finished in second.
After the competition we headed back to England and got ready to go home to the US.… more »
Europe
July 20, 2009
Hey everyone,
I am in Europe on my first European track circuit. We arrived to London (Ryan Ponsonby, Shannon Rowbury and I) about two weeks ago. We are staying south of London in a nice house in Teddington next to Bushy Park. It is a great location especially for a runner. Bushy Park has about 7miles of trail and connects to Holmes park, which is where Hampton Court Palace is located. Since our arrival we've been training and preparing for Heusdon, London, Stockholm and my main focus, the World Championships in Berlin.
I kicked off my first competition in Heusdon,… more »

It is really hard to be away from friends and family but i know that it is a sacrifice that i have to make to… more »

Wow, today was crazy hectic for me. As usual I wake up and think about all the things that I have to do today. There were was a lot on my mind. Either way the day started off by getting up and heading over to Normal University to do small workout.
Actually it’s more like a test run making sure all the burners are functional and ready to go. As is tomorrow will be the day that I go off and we normally do something that gets the legs going and the heart beating. I started off the workout… more »

August 13, 2008
8/13/08
I decided to sleep in till 9am today went for a 15min run and then went to check my e-mail. I think it was probably about 60 emails that I have received usually 40 is the average. I had set up two appointments to do interviews one with KXAN news station back home in Austin and the other with Telivisa a national Mexican television. When I finished up with KXAN the Telivisa crew was ready for the interview. I think they were a little anxious to start rolling because they were shooting me as I was doing the KXAN… more »

August 12, 2008
8/8/08
So I guess ill start off by letting everyone know that Jao Ming came into the cafeteria while I was eating and grabbed a Coke and McDonalds, def a publicity stunt, but way cool. Needless to say that was only a precursor to what was to come during the day. We had a meeting at 3pm about the opening ceremonies which took about 30min. After the meeting is when it all started. We were all rushed to make sure we got a quick bite to eat before we left for the opening ceremonies since we knew they were going… more »

In Dalian
August 3, 2008
Hey Everyone,
I'm finally sorta settled down. So i finally got a chance to come blog.
China is awsome!!! The flight was crazy long and it seemed like i was never going to get any sleep. We showed up to the Olympic Village and it was really hectic trying to get our credentials and going through security. Securtiy is intense. They have two sets of barbed wire fence surrounding the complex with a man stationed every 100m or so.
The next day we flew out to Dalian. Many people had been saying the air quality was bad but in… more »
Hanging out at Zap
October 11, 2007
Hey guys, so this is our second day at the Zap fitness center. This is a great place to come relax and get away from the city. The fresh air is amazing and the temperture is about 30' degrees cooler than it is in Texas.
It has now been been close to about 8 weeks since the world championships, and I have now been training for about 3 weeks for Cross-country. Even though Cross might not be my strong point in running, I am really looking forward to having a great season, and getting back into good race… more »

I had ran with the Galen and the Gouchers in the Morning, spent the day with Josh McAdams, Tom Brooks, Lindsey Anderson, Fernando Cabada, Aaron Aguao and Anna Willard. Played the Wii with Josh and beat him in Boxing and in Tennis, he will tell you otherwise tho. Later went with a run with Josh and Tom. It seemed like the japanese people thought it was wierd to see a group of guys with no shirt running through their streets. more »
