Track and Field Blogs - Lindsey Anderson

Hee hee hee, I did it! I successfully conned Mark into letting me blog!! He thinks he asked me to do it, but really it was total play on words. Anyway, here's what's been goin' on with me!
First off, the World Championships were awesome! I absolutely loved being there! I had so much fun and it was a blast to room with Anna, she's great! And yes, Josh and I took a fire extinguisher with us to church when Anna joined us. After Worlds I took 2 weeks off and now I'm getting back into it again. The 2 weeks were nice, and very much needed, but by the end I was starting to get quite antsy to run again! So right now I'm doing a lot of distance runs with Coach Pilkington and the Weber State cross country team. I have one more semester of school left before I graduate with my Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education, Math major (yeah, I know, I know, Math?!?) and P.E. teaching/coaching minor. I'm doing my student teaching at Fremont High about 25 min. from Weber State in 2 math classes and 3 p.e. classes, all full of sophomores. It's kept me busy writing lesson plans and preparing for classes. When I finally get home at night I spend about 4 hours doing school stuff. It's actually been really good so far and I'm enjoying it!! Scary, I know. That's me right now!!
