Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

So I saw Mark this past weekend in Indiana for the XC National Championships and he gave me a pretty hard time about not writing for so long! My student teaching, training, and helping coach has given me a legitimate excuse for my lack of spare time (but I still feel bad that it's been a while!) and I'm
a l m o s t done! so close!! I'll graduate on December 14 and I can hardly wait. My husband has been teasing me about counting down the days while I'm teaching. He thinks that students should be the only ones who do that. I must admit though, I've really enjoyed it and it'll be hard to be done. I'm sure it'll be hard to say goodbye to my students. I have been really lucky to have good students and to work with such a great administration. I don't think it could've been any better for me. The hard part was getting all the education department requirements done.

It was fun to be able to go to XC Nationals! I got to see Leo, Anna, and Mark which was awesome and kinda made it feel like a World Championships reunion cuz I haven't seen any of those guys since we were all in Japan!

As for my training, it's been going well! I'm up to my regular mileage and training routine which is always nice! I'm not quite sure which races I'll run here in the next little while. Now that cross country is over we'll have a little time before indoor seasons gets going to figure all that out. Anyway, this Thanksgiving break is much needed and will give me a little bit of time to relax before heading into my final week of teaching! We'll be spending Thanksgiving this year with my Husband's family. Luckily we won't have to travel very far, only about 30 minutes so we don't have to worry about crazy airports or anything like that!

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Lindsey
