Track and Field Blogs - Mark From Flotrack

We have been working hard here at HQ in Austin, Tx and we finally have gotten a News page up for you guys. For most of you this will be a new experience for some people because the News Page is run by you the community. There is not one or two people who decide what is news worthy, but the whole community decides.

Heres how it works.

Some of the News is added by the Contributers but most of them are added by the community. When you go to the "News Page" there is a link on the top right hand side that says submit a story. If you see a story or write a blog that you think others would like to see, simply submit it to the news page and it will be there for everyone to read and comment on.
The community also has to regulate and rate the news. If you read a story that you think is good, hit the thumbs up so the story moves up the page and will be more visable for other readers. If you read a story and it doesn't quite tickle your fancy then hit the thumbs down and it will move down the page. If there is an unrelated article or spam hit the spam button or unrelated button and if enough people agree with you the article will be deleted.
If you read a story and you have an opinion about it, leave a comment.
I am very excited about news and when we get enough activity on it we will move it to the home page. We might push down the Flotrack coverage links, good idea?
