Running to Clear My Mind

Mark From Flotrack | Profile
June 4, 2008

Ahhhhhh!

You know when you just have to go for a run and you hope you will figure things out while your out on the roads? Well I just got back from a run to more comments telling me what I should of known from the beginning and confirming what the run made realize. I am looking at the site and I am with you guys... Who did this? We are listening to you guys and tomorrow we are going back at it and going to fix not just bugs but some unflotrack "applications". Who says "applications" anyway. Man I need to go for another run.

All I can say is sorry but we are going to fix it,

Mark Flo

Blogs are being worked on to be brought back to your profile..... There is a ton I will get the update and hit you guys back with either another blog or video.

One more for the todo list: add an "Hours" field in Flotrackr for us ultra running types. Logging 173 minutes just feels odd.
Thanks, Flotrack is still my favorite website (by alot!).

Anytime there is change it is hard for people, especially since this is the first change and so many people have grown to love flotrack in that original format. I like the new format and once the bugs are worked out I think people will forget about the old format and really buy into the new one.

I think it's awesome you guys are trying to make a great thing better. Obviously there will be some negative feedback but I think the community is eager to help and is interested in helping the team make the best running log and virtual t+f networking experience possible. Keep up the great work and keep your heads up!

Flo, I'm glad that Poncho and I could help you figure out your site. I guess I blacked out during that portion of the conversation. Wanna run this weekend again, maybe we can have some sort of Flotrack genius idea.

No worries, the site is great no matter what it looks like. The videos are there and the information is accessible and that is all that matters.

Hang in there. The new site site looks great and once all the bugs are squashed I'm sure everyone will like the new version as much as the old one.

I honestly liked the old site much more. Does this new one not have the option of picking favorite videos?

Mark,
You're providing a service for people and the fact is that we deserve nothing, so ANYTHING is good. I'm thankful for whatever there is. Keep up the work and I guess I would just say, "be who you are, that's what's really cool!" :)

is there any way that you can make it possible to print out a weekly running log after you have written it. I think it would be great to Print a hard copy just incase the site is ever down....I have been logging my runs on here for about 6 months now. if the site ever goes down then I am sunk!

Is it corny to say that I haven't lost the faith? "Applications" and "dashboard"? Yah, probably a bit goofy. But you're gonna make it awesome! You should do more running, though, and fewer Red Bulls.
