Here at HQ in Austin we have been talking about what we should do about tags and comments. We like the fact that you do not have to sign in and you can say what you want but we don't like the fact that some people are abusing it. I don't mind and the guys think it's funny when people bash me but when people are writing degrading comments and tags that are meant to hurt people it makes us wonder. We want the community to regulate the tags, comments and the whole site so we will leave it as it is for now but i would like to explain tags and comments. Tags are there to help future visitors find the right video, so if you watch a video of Alberto Salazar and he talks about the marathon and training and he is at the Nike track in Beaverton you might tag it with the words "marathon training", "marathon", "Nike track" or even "Al all that is man Salazar". The comments are there to talk about the race, interview, person or to bash the interviewer. The little Red flags next to the tags and the comments are there for you the community to regulate the tags and comments. If you think a tag is wrong or inappropriate flag it.

If someone tagged "Deena Kastor" on the Alberto Salazar video and it has nothing to do with Deena then flag it. If enough people flag it the tag will be removed. If there are any inappropriate tags or comments please tag them, it
make sour life a lot easier. We would rather be working on making the site better with new features and better quality then censoring the community. So if you like the site and you want to see it to continue to grow tag the videos to help the next person find it and flag the wrong and inappropriate flags. I just arrived in Chicago from Cambridge Ontario. We tried some new things with the mile so check it out and i will try to write a couple blogs from indy this week.

Talk to ya'll later,

Mark
