At this time of year, trees have extended their reach for sunlight with new growth. Some have overextended the strength of their limbs and when they begin to dry out, they come crashing down. There have been 2 major limb/trunk falls on the first 1/2 mile of the flat road recently, one right at the 1/2 mile turnaround, (Symons Grove), another I heard up around the Taylor Trail on 6.22.09.
