Time to focus

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there

This weeks training suffered a little. Although I had  great workouts monday and wensday, my mileage dropped a lot this weekend. I needed a weekend to just go out and have some fun. I recently broke up with my girlfriend and when we were dating I wouldn't go out causewe had a long distance relationship and I would spend my weekends up at her place. I am sad that we broke up but this gives me a real oppertunity to focus on this up coming indoor season. So that saying "A blessing in disguise" applies. I wanted to get the party monkey off my back befor my first meet and thats just what I did.I had a great time with close friends and I think it was very theraputic for me. Thursday night I went out for sushi and drinks with a teammate of mine, Friday night our friend turned 21....enough said. Saturday night we spent a couple of hours at Tony Cs.

My running this week (the important stuff). I got in 50 mioles while only doing 15 during the weekend. My workouts were on monday I did 3xmile with half rest at 5k pace and wensday I had a time trial 1000m ran 2:36. then had a 600, 2x400, 3x200 (1:31, 59, 58, 29, 29, 28. I was really happy with that workout.

All in All this was a great week for working out and getting my fun in before the season. I'm excited for tommorow cause I'm going bowling with my brother. I expect to get another 200+ game or two.

Untill next time have a great week...
